After the death of J. F. Grundmann, his work was carried on by his co-worker of many years, J. F. Floth, who continued to develop innovative key mechanisms.
The instrument has eight keys, the additional keys being C-sharp, F, F-sharp, G-sharp, B-flat, and an octave key. Also available by request with a low B key.
The instrument is made of European boxwood. Other wood is available by request.
